many Cdns and others visit while the visa process is ongoing. I traveled every month to DC while the process was ongoing. Longest I spent was 3 weeks. Cdns can spend 6 months a year. Not sure when the year starts and stops (is it jan 01 to dec 31?????)

It's 180 days per 12 rolling months. You can't enter on June 1st and return on Dec 31st only to re-enter 2 days later.

Ive known ppl who have come here on a B2 or the VWP, gotten married and adjusted with no problem. They were never even asked about intent. I think that any immigration lawyer will tell you the same. Would I recommend it??....NO. But its done all the time.

The problem is that you are stuck...no working, no driving.....no life. You cant even return home to tie up loose ends...cant even attend a funeral of your own father (which happened to the wife of my nephew). If you leave, you cant be readmitted and have to interview in your home country.

Alright, if this is true, then wonderful news...but how do I know it's true?

I was reading up on this website: USImmigration.visapro.com and it states the following:

You can remain in the U.S. while you wait for the approval of the Form I-130 and are able to apply for lawful permanent residence status (adjustment of status), or for a green card, instead of having to wait outside the U.S. as the law previously required.

IS THIS TRUE?!?!?!

Would an immigration lawyer website state you would be able to do that?

Just questioning...personally that's a little bit of hope for me...but if it's not true...back to square 1

I think all of us should have read the excerpt you posted from the actual link.

That statement was listed as an advantage of entering the US under a K3 visa.

So, yes if you enter under a K3 visa you can live in the US until receive your I-130 approval. But it's now a moot point as it won't get you in the US any quicker.
