Tell your fiance not to fret. The interview is just a formality. The Embassy official simply wants to know if your relationship is legitimate. Therefore, he should know all pertinent information-

Where did you meet?

How did you meet?

Your full legal name, address, phone number, names of your relatives (If he has met your family)

How do you two communicate?

How often do you visit him in Nigeria?

Has he ever been to the US?

Just tell him to think before he speaks. Repeat the question before answering. Reminder: He is not coming to the US to work nor attend school. He wants to come to America to be with his fiancee (soon-to-be wife). Good luck to the both of you.

I compiled these questions below from different sources but think it might be helpful. Call your fiance and go over these questions together. Be sure to say exactly what you filled in the forms ( G325 and I-129F). No question is a stupid question. You can be asked what they already know to test your honesty and consistency. What is your birthday?

Does your....... 's have any brothers and sisters?

Do you have any brothers and sisters?

Where do your ....... 's parents live?

Where does your husband live?

Where was he born

What do you love about your husband

Have you ever applied for a traveling visa?

Where did my ....... visit when he was here?

Thanks so much for this post...my fiance has been quite nervous about the interview part (and I'm not sending the I-129F off for another couple of weeks!!!)...this should put him at ease...
