is the marriage license we have after marriage, the one with a heading 'NOT VALID AFTER 60 DAYS' can be used upon applying the AOS? it says it's valid within 60 days, so we will submit it before 60 days. can we do this?

You need the marriage certificate, with the stamp from the clerk's office, to apply for AOS. The marriage license generally becomes the marriage certificate, but I'm not sure what you're talking about.

the marriage license is valid for 60 days during the 60 days you have to get married or its not valid

once you are married the ( priest , JP , cleark who ever performs the ceremony ) will fill out the bottom part and sign it then sends it to the cleark office where you got the license from so they can register the marriage license in theyr system , few days to a week later you can go back to the clearks office , and they will give you a certified marriage certificate ( go over the license before it gets send to the cleark make sure all the information is correct , also go over the certificate once your able to pick it up you can ask the one who performs ther ceremony how long it usualy takes till the license is at the clearks office , mine took a week to get the certificate ready to be picked up )

it sounds like you have the marriage license application. it needs to be recorded at the clerks office where it was applied for so if can be recorded. then you can obtain a certified copy.
