Im wondering, how can I find the status of my approved K1 petition. Was sent Dec 13th from USCIS and its going on 4 weeks. Is there a web site I can check my status on the NVC site?

if you resived your first NOA ( notice of action ) you will see a case number on it ( it should start with the letters EAC followed by some # )

you can click this link , click on register follow the instructions to open an account ,

add your case number and you will see any updates USCIS will do , good luck

You can call the NVC (603)334-0700 and make sure you speak to live operator. You can give them the receipt # from the USCIS and the beneficiary date of birth. The recorded message is not up to date. You can also email them at nvcinquiry@state.gov...but it is slow in response. If you are within 4 weeks time; they will mostly tell you to wait a little bit longer. Good luck.

Dial the number, as soon as the message opens hit 1, 5. Then wait.

If you get a message in spanish, hang up and try again. If you get "sorry for the dalay, but you have to wait more than "x" minutes to speak to an operator" then hold and you can speak to someone.

You need your CIS receipt number (WAC, VSC,MSC) with your 9-digit case number. If: they ask you for your fiance's name and date of birth, they have your case. Otherwise, they will tell you to wait.
