Hi,

I just got the approval notice for EAD via email. Actually my EAD was initially approved about a month ago, but they didn't pull the finger print from my biometrics record that I already did for both I-485 and I-765. I made couple of trips to local district office thru InfoPass to resolve this problem and finally got it. When I talked to the officer in the local office, they say this happens a lot. So if you did your biometrics for both I-485 and I-765 but your EAD takes longer than you expect, then you may try InfoPass. Good Luck!

Congrats! Just another example of someone not being told they had been approved for their EAD until much later than it's actual approval. As if working doesn't matter. I'm really fed up with the whole system.
