Hi priscilla, don't worry just lengthen your patience. I was like that too when we don't have any news about our case. I suggest that you check every details of your documentation while you are waiting for the good news. Last time I was focused on when we're gonna be approve not minding or reading some of our documents now I am having this problem. Don't worry you gonna be fine I am pretty sure the USCIS will soon contact your husband or you soon receive an email from them.

Good luck!!!

Hi Pricilla,

I am in the same boat as you are. Yes indeed it is tough. I have been trying to get my wife here since April of 2005. As you can see my K1 failed we have since married, filed the I-130 and now the long wait again. I get emotional almost everyday now. Hopefully on our 4th anniversary of meeting we will be together one way or the other.

Hang in there a little longer. We waited around the 180 day mark but the most frustrating part was the 6 weeks it took to get the approved petition out of CIS in California and delivered to the NVC. Be prepared for things to really speed up though when the NVC gets a hold of it. It was only 6 weeks from the day the NVC got the petition to having the visa's in hand. Start preparing for the interview process and all of your required documents now!

DEAR FELLOW JULY AND AUGUST VJERS

don't let yourselves become impatient by basing yourselves on the applications approved before ours

remember that there was an insane increase in applications filed just during our time

that means that what worked for people just a month before us will probably not work for us

your application is one among 2.5 million received during this period, and they will have to go through this massive amount of files on the way to get to yours

thinking that it should happen anyday now will just make you feel inpatient and frustrated

dont hurt yourselves, accept the wait and make the best of your time
