Hi guys,

I'll be starting the process of removing conditions next October, but I want to know much earlier if it's needed my passport from my country during the process of it, since my passport will be expiring 5 months later (March 2009). And if it is so, should I start earlier to ask for a new passport to the Embassy of my country where I'm supposed to ask for it?

Thanks for your help!!!!

You should make sure in general that your passport always has six month validity on it (many countries require this when you enter though immigration). That said I would just go ahead and get it renewed before then unless there is a compelling reason to wait :).

a valid passport is not required for removal of conditions

Hi MarilynP, thanks to you & all the other VJ people for replying me, but I have to ask something especially to you, if the valid passport is not required in the removal condition, why in the "Exemple Forms" in the cover page to be sent to the Immigration, is mentioned as document attached with the related form for Removal of conditions, copies of passport?

Is it just an exemple as ID document, so instead of the passport copy, a valid USA ID copy can be sent along with the other documents instead?

Thanks again!!!!
