Canada still rules the hockey world :dance::dance::dance::dance::dance:

Congrats to our Canadian Junior team and also to our Canadian under 17 team Both Champions

Way to go boys :thumbs::thumbs::thumbs:

Sweden was playing very well when I peeked in on the game with 14 minutes to go. Canada was ahead at the time though. Now if we could only get Mason in a Leafs uniform. :lol:

too slow!! We already had a topic in the canada forum chatting about this,lol Glad they won,but they sure didnt look as impressive as other CDn teams in the past. Lot of players should be returning for next yrs run.

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied,that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1

When one tries to log onto tsn to watch, it states it is because of copyright laws,which I think is ttl #######!! I watched the CFL grey cup online--mind you I had to pay, but it was available!!

TSN needs to start realizing that some of us live here in the US, so they can stop limiting their broadband broadcasts to only connections in Canada.

ok ill share a secret ive beeen told about by my father inlaw

if you miss canadian coverage or your own team you can find it here:

or really any sports- or non sports- related tv show

youll have to watch online but man its SO nice to hear canadian coverage. you do have to look daily to see if youre games will be on and Sometimes you cant get canadian announcers but its still great.

i noticed the week before xmas my inlaws were getting free NHL pass (it was in like channel 300s or 500s... they happened on it by accident) and it had legitimate CBC coverage of hockey games... even the COMMERCIALS were canadian. We went for dinner on saturday and and the leafs were on we didnt leave till after mid night..... it was after all double header saturday. they tried to buy the package for me for xmas but my cable provider didnt offer it :( theres came free with their regular tv package too :( -- i think they had time warner

copywrite laws?? the US does not have a copywrite on canadian hockey!

Im just stating what it states when u attempt to watch a live event on online at TSN. I believe you can go and watch it later, just not live.

Channelsurfing.net seems cool, but it appears it doesnt show them live. Shows them after! I could be wrong.

shown all the ones i wanted live :) im pretty convinced its not recorded because ive gone after leaf games and the link vanishes. when its time, i just go and check the page scroll to the link and it usualy have 4-5 feeds and i click one of them

last night it was so"live" that brian watching a football game, when it cut to commercial it was just random talking of the announcers and the camera wondering around and them looking at re plays for talks later on in the show, and lots of the floor , followed by a "werreeee back" when it was back on.

i did try looking up tsn/ leafs tv and got the"you cant access this" message, it made me sad. im not a fan of TSN or leafs tv broadcasts but at that point id have killed for it
