George Bush political base down to FIVE states (out of FIFTY)

600 adults age 18+ in each of the 50 states were interviewed by SurveyUSA 4/7/06 to 4/9/06. Based on that I don't think the Democrats should be out ordering new carpet and wallpaper for the Oval Office just quite yet.

Plus what were the question(s) that were asked. The only Poll that matters is the one next November.

Does it really matter if anyone liks him now? I mean over half of America supported him when it counted.. at the elections.. so we're stuck with him until the end of his term and even if he wanted to he couldn't come back after that anyway so who cares? If ever there was a time to NOT support him it would have been at the last election, at least then we could have kept him from returning to office and screwing up Amercan any more than he already has. Admittedly, I don't really understand politics anyway so maybe there is something I'm missing?
It matters for half-term elections coming up in November...

And it matter because he's left completely impotent for the remainder of his term. He won't accomplish a thing which, seeing his sick agenda, is a good thing. Nothing sure beats what he had in mind...

Do we get to vote him out then?
If the Dems take the House and Senate in November, you can bet they will try to impeach him.

They dang well better. He sure deserves it...

AHHHH  sounds like a plan to me

Does it hurt that much?

By the way, samples are the basis for any poll...

Nah. I'm register as an independent. I voted for Bush the first time because I thought it was time for a new direction and second time lesser of two evils. If the Republicans get thrashed in November that's the only poll I will believe.

The biggest cause is the immigration issue.

I think the biggest cause is that he's a dumba**

Exactly what I thought! Just think about it, anyone who criticized Bush after 9/11 got snitched on and had the FBI knocking on their door... Now.. when people speak out about Bush, more people are in agreement... gee.. how long did it take for people to realize the harm that has been done under this administration?

Bush was in the Bay Area today -- what is he doing here?? There are more people who voted against him here than pretty much anywhere else in the US.

Ah, he managed to say that he's feeling for the people suffering at the gas pump. What a gem.

Well, I'm proud to say I never voted for him.

Not that there were a lot of good choices, mind you, but he definitely wasn't the one! Anyway, I didn't bother to look up WI disapproval ratings..but I hope they're high!!!!! :) :) :) M.

It's really noticeable how the Bush bots have become so quiet of late. "Back in the day" (even just 1 year ago on VJ) a post like this would have the gung-ho W booster brigade out in force.... now they're down to a hardly a whimper.

;)

I was talking about the specific stats for certain states...as in the title of this thread...disapproval ratings are more than 50 percent in all but 5 states..I just wondered where WI specifically stood on that but didn't feel like looking it up(but I guess I could have by now!!!) Anyway, unless I'm missing something, that particular link didn't show that. Thanks anyway. M.
