Does it really matter if anyone liks him now? I mean over half of America supported him when it counted.. at the elections.. so we're stuck with him until the end of his term and even if he wanted to he couldn't come back after that anyway so who cares? If ever there was a time to NOT support him it would have been at the last election, at least then we could have kept him from returning to office and screwing up Amercan any more than he already has. Admittedly, I don't really understand politics anyway so maybe there is something I'm missing? :blush:

Even here in the Lone Star state there's a downward trend and the moaning masses are becoming more vocal.

The biggest cause is the immigration issue.

He shot himself in the foot with this, didn't he? That's what happens when the interests of his biggest supporters -- big business and social conservatives -- are diametrically opposed. This does not happen often but this time around it really bit him!

09-02-2005 Applications for AOS, EAD, and AP received by MSC

10-21-2005 AOS fingerprint notice for 12-08-2005

11-07-2005 AP approved

12-05-2005 Infopass appt at San Jose office for interim EAD -- Refused, because it is already approved by MSC on 11-07-2005

12-07-2005 Attempt at interim EAD at San Francisco office -- no go. Back to San Jose, where CSO (chief station officer) tells they will contact MSC via email to request permission to issue interim EAD

12-08-2005 Biometrics for AOS and EAD. Having no EAD appt letter was no problem (used EAD NOA)

12-15-2005 EAD arrived in the mail
