guys, especially you guys that went through the k1 process

We received our green card in a little less then 6 months and thats given that we had a REF and took a month to respond.

so if you subtract the month, we received green card in hand in about 5 months no interview required.

is this normal for everyone that brought their spouces from another country

or are we just extremely lucky?

I'm a little confused because your timeline shows only a visa but from filing of AOS to green card in hand can take as little as three months. Is that what you are referring to?

Well I sent in for my AOS on November 28. They received the package on November 30 and I already have an interview date set for February 12. I guess it does happen

By the way..do you find out if you're approved or not at the interview?

Removal of conditions...

Congratulations!!!!

There are a couple people in the October filers thread, that were approved 2 months after filing for AOS. Not sure if they got the GC yet, but take a look at their timeline. Go to October filers in this AOS section and page 56 has the most current timelines for all of us.

If your case was transferred to the California Service Center, then that is likely why you were approved without interview.
