Dear Sir/Madam

When (fiance) and I applied for a Fiance Visa (interview was May 23 2007) we may not have supplied as much proof as required, therefore we didn't get the visa and it was sent back to NVC.(petition expired). I honestly didn't think it would be that difficult and didn't know how thorough I should have been. This time I will be flying down to attend the interview and both (fiances name) and I have made sure we have submitted a thorough and detailed package, including emails, monthly phone bills(detailed), my 4 trips including engagement, engagement photos (home ceremony and party my parents threw), as well as affidavits of support from both sides of our families and friends, proof of identity for both myself and Harpreet. I have also enclosed an affidavit from myself detailing how we were introduced, how we communicated and how we got engaged.

We are more than willing to prove how much we love and care for each other. We are very committed to get married.

REDFLAG?- I am 10 yrs older than my fiance, and am divorced with a child. However we are both the same religion. How can I show that this is not a red flag? my fiance and I are going thru a tough time.. its been 18 months since we got engaged.

How about affidavits ? (from people you TRUST, family members and friends)

I think the letter is good, and I agree with including notarized Affidavits from friends, like journeyman suggested. Why don't you also mention the age difference and child in your letter, because obviously they will notice that. Just say something like, though you know there is an age difference of a few years, it does not matter to love, and how your fiance is fully aware of the situation and loves your child too, something like that. I had a friend whose Pakistani fiance was never married, but she the USC, was divorced with three young kids (and several years older than him). She wrote all the details in a letter and stressed their love and commitment to each other, and they got the visa!

I'm really praying that you guys will get the approval with no troubles this time!!

i was planning on just making this the cover letter to my package at the embassy....
