My wife entered as a K1, and we got married and filed for her adjustment of status and for AP.

She is presently in Spain, and will returning soon. I think that I know how the system works but I just wanna make sure ao that she understands also.

When she left Las Vegas, they removed the old I94 from her passport for turn-in to the ICE.

She has two identical AP documents in her possession. When she returns does she show both copies? Will they keep one copy and return the other to her?? Will they place a new I94 into her passport??

If she is down to one AP document, what happens on her next trip out of the US? Will they return he only remaining copy??

I think the answer to all these questions is YES, but I want to quite sure.

Thanks

I finally got rid of the never ending money drain. I called the plumber, and got the problem fixed. I wish her the best.

Ok...

When she arrives into the airport, she'll go to primary inspection.. once they see the I-512 (AP), they'll send her to secondary.. They'll process the I-512. Thay're supposed to stamp and process both and keep one and give one to the parolee.. but what usually happens is they stamp and process one and make a photocopy of it for your A file and give the blank one and the stamped one back to you... as of that point you can throw the blank away as it has no value.. They will also place a new I-94 with the parolee stamp in the passport...

Every time that you enter the US after that with a validated I-512, they'll send you to secondary, log your entry, and place a new I-94 into the passport... They would do it at primary, but they don't have the parollee stamp in primary...
