me too. 2007 was a ROUGH YEAR from day one... i'm hoping 2008 will pick things up a bit! very hopeful!

terrie, i'm sure it was disappointing your husband didn't enjoy christmas as you would have liked. i don't expect my husband to be all psyched about what holidays are important to me but i do think he should at least show some enthusiasm, show up, and have a smile on his face...as i also do for his holidays. i think there can be a mutal understanding and somewhat participation in each other's holidays. like eating dinner and presents are not exactly the same as going to a church or mosque. only you two know what you expected from each other. but since your husband has just arrived, i would give him time to adjust to things here and next year things will probably be different!

I hate the commercial season too and am glad it is over. My favorite holidays are Easter and Halloween.
