Personal life wise- In the past I've learned that bi-polar tendencies can spawn from addiction. Those that weren't bipolar before may cross that line with their dependence on a chemical substance such a meth, ect... Once crossing that line you can't go back as they say "once an addict always an addict." The audience has witnessed Britney's struggle with addiciton and the environment that encourages it. Bottom line is Britney's personal life needs help.

I think the trigger that caused this meltdown in her already vunerable state was her lawyer announcing quiting her custody case. It made her vunerable because she didn't have her legal armor. She even boasts about he legal armor in her latest single "Piece of Me" as one of her defense mechinisms. You start breaking down her defenses and she crumbles as we're all seeing now.

Career wise her "Piece of Me" song should have been her first single release and video release. It's a far better presentation then her stripper "Gimme More" video and sends a stronger message. Her "Gimme More" video glories all her flaws playing into the dark side of what she is dwelling in while her "Piece of Me" video says "This is who I am and I am strong. I've been in this business for a long time." It also says "You think you know what is going on but nobody knows better than me" and takes her flaws and throws them back in our face.

Now granted maybe Britney's business manager knew this tough attitude about Britney and that she wouldn't let up on having creative control of the idea for the "Gimme More" video so they made the strategy be that they put the weaker video and song out there before they put the stronger stuff out there for her comeback. I've listened to her new album and it's surprisingly good with a few more nice dance songs. Her next chart topper is most likely going to be her song "Radar".

Well here's my two cents to Britney-

that girl is sick.Very sick.And she needs help,BUT before she can get any help she has to WANT help.

Meaning she has to REALIZE what she's doing.She has to one day wake up and reaize what she's doing to herself ,her kids and the ppl that truly love her.

Everybody who drinks/abuses drugs has more or less of a "reason" to start one day.In her case I'm thinking it was the fact that she had to be perfect (on stage and so on).She always had to be the happy smiling sucsessful kid cause once the media caught her down and crying questions were asked.

SO-

she started using alcohol and drugs to "always be happy and smiling".Now this may work for some time but once your body gets used to that **** you need more and more and you start feeling sick if you don't get it.......

It's a devils circle (just like Elvis,same darn thing happened to him,the media and his fans destroyed that man cause he was expected to always be a happy camper to always look great and to always be in the best shape)

As long as she doesn't WANT to stop dong what she's doing she wont find anybody who could help her.

As far as her kids go,they need to be completley out of her reach.They should also be out of Federlines reach and the entire family's reach.In my eyes those two cute boys should be placed into a loving and caring foster home where they can grow up as normalö boys ,not the son's of a "star" thats going down fast.

Mother's with drug and alcohol issues need to be seperated from their kids for good,well until they come 1000% clean (no NOT a typo I mean 1000% beyond any doubt).

And I know what I'm talking about because my mother was an alcoholic and literally drank herself to death in front of her family's eyes.HAving a drunk mother is pure hell.Not only do you have to deal with her drunk bs ,you also have to deal with other kids,neighbors and so on that bully you for it.And then you may even have family memebers that blame YOU for her drinking.............

To sum it up-

take them kids far far away from her and pray for her to wake up one day WANTING to change.

well loosing her kids might be just what she needs to open her eyes and get the help she needs. now if the media would just leave her alone and stop photographing her every move so she can see the public has become bored with her could help too. no doubt she does these crazy things for attention.

To be honest I blame her parents, she peaked too young and really doesn't know how to cope with the bad things in life.

It seems that "my child has some talent so we will push him/her towards it". Unfortunately these kids show they can't cope with it. It's the same all over, Drew Barrymoore, Lindsay Lohan, Gary Coleman.

These kids were all pushed and exploited while they were young and went right off the rails.

I really do think the parents (and agents) have a lot to answer for.

There comes a point in life where you have to stop blaming others and look within yourself to figure things out. Yes her parents are to blame but they are not the only ones. She has to straighten herself out and blame herself as well. My best friend comes from a bad childhood and she grew up beautifully with the ability to know right from wrong. Her parents never encouraged her education and now she has her Masters degree at the age of 23 and is very successful. I know that not everyone is the same but she shouldn't just point her fingers at everyone else.

I do feel for your friend, I too have friends who grew up in poor areas with parents who didnt give a damn, some who followed their parents examples, some who didnt. I also knew of kids fom "middle class parents" who were really struggling with drug addiction, etc.

The fact is here that the parents pushed their daughter and Britney ended up with more money than she knew what to do with. So she followed most of the "young people" with money and had a good time with drugs and alcohol, the parents didn't know how to cope with her. After all this is what Britney wanted and they had encouraged her all the way. Many stars fall by the wayside because of drugs and alcohol, it takes a very strong person to beat it and carry on. Many stars end up in rehab, some recover some dont, it's a sad fact of our times.

I'm hoping Britney does recover for the sake of her kids, I do think the last album was a mistake. She should of given herself more time since she last fell over, I hope that for once she puts her family ahead of her career. Anyone who puts their career ahead of their family is heading for disaster.

I hope she recovers as well. And I totally agree with you. But I was just saying that she is to blame as well.

Can I ask what the point of the finger pointing name calling is? The woman is a mess, she may or may not have mental health issues and despite her fortune she's not in any sense of the word happy but I don't measure my life by well or badly she or anyone else is doing so for me, it's just sad and I certainly don't wish her any more ill than she already has and it doesn't make me feel superior to call her names.
