We received an email confirmation of our NOA 2 process yesterday!!!! I couldn't believe it when I saw the email! I called Carla immediately and she was with her family in Peru having lunch.:dance::dance:

I sent our application in September 8th to the Vermont Center and it took approximately 117 days to get NOA2 approval, almost 4 months. We received one touch on September 29th and that was it. So don't be worried if you haven't received a touch in a while.

Any suggestions for what to do next?!!!

We still have a ways to go before receiving an interview and getting our Fiance Visa. Hopefully we will have an Embassy interview within 45 days and be able to keep our planned wedding date of March 15th.

Thank you Lord for finally answering our many, many prayers, Tu eres Fiel!!! :innocent:

Thank you to Visa Journey and all the people on VJ that are sooooo great in helping us understanding the Visa process! We contnue to look for your guidance and hope that our experience encourages others. God bless you all!

Congratulations guys! You sound exciting! It gets me happy too because we've filed with VSC around the same date you did - Sept 6 and I hope we'll get the same lucky to get our NOA2 as fast as you did:)

I have a stupid questions about the touches though. I can see people mentioning them but we got nothing so far. Our NOA1 is dated 09/10 and our case has been pending since then. NO TOUCHES. I'm wondering if everybody get those?

Thanks:)

We filed Sept 8 and recieved a "touch " from uscis on Sept 29, then again on Jan 3rd, our file shows a "touch" and we received and email from uscis of NOA2 approval. Perhaps it is a way to monitor what they are doing with our files, instead of leaving us out of the loop, not knowing anything. But don't freak out if your file isn't showing having received a "touch" , I think some people receive their visas without their file ever showing a "touch". Double check though you may want to call the office and ask :) (800) 375-5283 - USCIS Office

Congratulations Mari! It seems as if California Service Center are not updating their computers, so I wouldn't worry about it. You have your NOA2 in hand, and you are approved. Congrats!!!!!

Ah lol ok, no prob.

I wouldn't worry about not having received NOA2 yet. It's still a little early. Most September filers are still waiting for NOA2 also.
