We are having a really bad storm in Nor Cal as well. That howling wind is freaking me out!

saw that on the news today. lotsa rain and high winds. you stay safe (F)

Hope everyone had a great day. I am missing my husband terribly today nad my daughter is going to be gone until tomorrow afternoon. I don't know what to do with myself. At least the dog is here to keep me company. I'll check back in later. TTFN!

I'm terribly confused about your situation (not that it's any of my biz) but I can't figure out if you're *on* or *off* w/ your husband. I understand y'all had problems, but I am not getting your situation at all - *if you want to explain :help: if not, no problem either - just clueless at the moment.

ditto. and i have this feeling that it's an old mena name with a new name too.

No old MENA person Charles. Same as it has always been. At this point I as am confused as you all are. I thought at one point he had gone back, but he never did. We decided to work things out and he left again. Its a cycle that doesn't stop. This pregnancy has created a lot of issues and they have taken their toll on us. There is no doubt that we love each other and want to be together, but there will come a time when one of us will say, when is enough enough, and either get it right or say goodbye. What hurts the most is knowing that we are both hurting so much and that he more than likely won't be there when his son is born. Unfortunately, right now, there is no way control our current situation as I no longer work and he has not been able to secure decent employment. Between the baby and finances, we have no security and that is killing us both. All I can do is pray and turn it over to God and let Him handle things the way the they need to be, whatever that may be. Until then, I remain a mess and miss him like crazy.

this is a moroccan butternut squash recipe i got off of the internet that is incredible, i love it and make it every fall and winter, its a must to puree it though - it says you can eat it either way but I say, puree!

Yummmm!!! I prefer pureed soup as well. I ended up making corn and cheddar chowder tonight so I'll definitely make that recipe this week. Thanks!

if you are going to make it, i should state that i have only made it with chicken broth or israeli chicken soup powder (i think thats like knorr?) not vegetable, and have only used honey not pumpkin puree (if i had the puree i might have tried it though). Good luck~ Corn and cheddar chowder sounds awesome! I had my fish cooked in salt but i think ill go back to the diet thread to report on that

I'm still rooting for a snowstorm in Houston!!!!

my goodness what a day I've had. It was like everyone was out of their meds at the same time!! On top of that, the first of the year with the deductibles being reinstated has totally pizzd some pplz off and made my job wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy harder that need be. I'm 1 tired puppy tonight and stressed to the max due to an email from the phone company stating our next bill is over $1000.00. I think there has been a screw up but the phone company swares it is right. I'm going to do some investigating on that one tonight over a piping hot grape and apple hookah!!!!!!!!!
