there is a link that is a story about websites that explicity TEACH girls how to be anorexic and bulemic!

That's horrible! :( All sites like that should be shut down.

I was astonished. A friend of mine in my grad school program did a paper on this - but it was pro-cutting and self mutilation websites...i was amazed...it's horrible.

Finally finished with immigration in 2012!

there is some correlation with abuse or preceived abuse for anmo and cuuters....also, cutters are usually foremost boderline personality disorders,,,,

It's very sad... but lots of people are so sick that they don't KNOW they've got a problem, or they don't want to try and get better because they like the way they are, even though the rest of us know they're on the road to self-destruction.

They've seriously got to Get Real... the media that is, not these poor girls. 'Thinner is better' is ingrained into kids heads from the time they're toddlers because they see it everywhere :( Is it any wonder that some of them grow up to be pro-ana? They just have to turn on the tv to any television station to see super-thin women, or pick up a magazine to see some skinny superstar's latest fad diet.
