Question about the EAD timeline

I'm looking at the EAD processing timelines and I am a little confused about what a eFile is? Is that the email you're getting from the USCIS saying that your card will be send to you? and if yes, are you allowed to work the moment you get the email even though no card on hand yet?

Please help me with this. It's kind of crucial in my situation

As mi illusion indicated, efile is when you apply electronically.

So the NOA stated that it would take 90 days to process EAD. My question is is it 90 days from the receipt date or the notice date? Thanks.

From the receipt date. Hopefully you will get yours in the 90 days, I still have not, day 95 and counting...........

So we did our first biometric appointment on 12/3/07. Approximately 2 weeks ago we receive another notice asking to go for second fingerprint on 01/04/08 (code 1) as fbi could not read the finger print. We went ahead and did walk in on 12/19/07. But we never get any touch in the LUD. Is this normal? I read in other forum and said that there should be a touch after the biometrc. Should I schedule an infopass and ask?

I had my biometrics on 11/02/2007. My AOS and EAD were not visible on the online system until 11/29/2007 (both touched that day). I am presuming that was after they received my biometrics, which took almost 4 weeks.
