actually I just received an email from ankara embassy..

Dear Sir:

The visa package was sent to her on 03 January 2008. As soon as she receives it she should fill all the forms and send them to us. upon receiving the forms we are going to process the case and send the appointment accordingly. you can also download the forms from the following site: http://turkey.usembassy.gov/visa_forms.html

fill what out? and send it by mail back to them? do they send a appointment and ask for those craps?

Your fiance should fill out the forms that she received and send it to the Embassy, and then they will continue the process and give her an interview date.

Your fiancee will soon receive a packet 3 from the the consular office with instruction on it and all the DS Forms that your fiancee have to fill-out. A soon as you finish filling all the forms the consulate ask you to fill in, send them all back to the consular office then they will start processing your fiancee's visa.

Yeah don't be scared. As it was already mentioned it's just package 3 and everyone goes through this. She will receive a couple of forms (usually they send a checklist of what has to be sent back to them), she will have to fill them out and send in whatever else they ask for and wait for an interview date (package 4 for some countries or just interview date and instructions of what to bring to the embassy for other countries).

Thanks you, but I already rode those stuff, I need some more helpfull tips, how the heck they sending a doc to iran from american embassy in ankara?

how the heck they trust the iranian post service? technically it is a diplomatics mail ??? will I already send my concern to my distric congress man wich is he is following up on my case! WHAT A MESS ARE THEY DOING ..??

I am seriously getting tired of hole staution..

give me some helpfull information..

so if the iranian mail system can't be trusted, what are we to do?

If the online status isn't updated regularly, then we might be approved and not know for weeks or goodness knows how long...

once we get the K1 approval notice, what happens? is a packet sent for that as well, or is packet 3 what i'm talking about already?
