had my biometrics today for I-485 and EAD..

she only took one finger print of my right index finger?

is that correct?

for EAD, Yes 1 finger. but when i went on July to have my fingerprint done. for my I-485 the lady there' she took fingerprint for all of them i meant the 10 fingers.

but maybe they changes it from 10 to 1 who knows. u better stay here and see if someone who recently went through it. he will be able to tell u ...

well I asked her is that it?

and she said yes but you know how USCIS employees are..

and I noticed my EAD was touched and not my AOS.

yes same here. i got touch on the same day i had my biometric for my EAD. but not for my AOS. i even wasn't able to check my case online.. well. dont worry u are on ur way dude.

dont need to get stress. because u will not change what in their head (Immig) lol, just do ur best and leave the rest.. dont worry u will get it god willing. and u will remember this day lol

They took all 10 prints for my AOS and just the one index print for my EAD.

They took all 10 prints for my AOS and just the one index print for my EAD.

I'm thinking whoever took Earmuffs prints made an error. For AOS all 10 prints would be needed for the background checks or whatever it is they do.

I had my biometrics today as well. I had all 10 fingerprints taken. It took the guy about 15 minutes to achieve it and both, EAD/AOS got touched

Im guessing its because I got the bio letter then a request for initial evidence, which I sent in and they received yesterday..

I don't think that would have mattered- if you went there with the Biometrics notice for AOS they should have known to take all 10 prints. The people who do the printing are a separate division of the USCIS and really have no knowledge about the whole process. They just take the prints and their job is done.

Yeah...the guy that took my fingerprints told me that it's gonna take me a year to get my EAD even though i have my AOS interview this february....I'm still surprised they didn't take all 10 fingerprints...

Hello,,, i had my biometric appt on Dec 26 and they got all of my fingers scanned actually the lady who asisted me kept on repeating it for sure scanning, which is good!!!

I-751 timeline

3/05/10 - mailed I-751 packet

3/12/10 - arrived at CSC

3/16/10 - online status, NOA mailed but no mail received

3/18/10 - Check cashed

4/15/10 - biometric appointment (notice recv'd in mail - 4/01/10)

4/16/10 - touched

4/18/10 - I-485 & EAD touched????

5/03/10 - Card production ordered

5/11/10 - letter of Approval received in the mail

5/26/10 - email received "letter of Approval" sent in the mail... not yet received till now 6/8/10

7/07/10 - called USCIS why green card has not received yet

7/09/10 - email from USCIS stating that they already sent the GC on May 25th and undeliverable,

adviced to apply for I-90 as it might have been lost in mail

7/25/10 - mailed application for I-90 (replacement of lost or stolen card)

9/16/10 - biometric appointment

9/20/10 - touched

9/21/10 - touched

to make sure. call USCIS. or if there's any immigration office close from u go there and ask them .. they will tell u all about it. but all what i know's the whole fingers.
