But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

uh oh...I was hoping Hil to win....she's gotta gain steam if she's to win the nom only to get beat by the repub nom

awwww Lisa, America isn't ready for a female president just yet.

Let them vote in their first black president, the female will be next.

After years and years of brain dead males, its going to take time for the public to see sense. For them to vote for someone with ideas, someone who gives a damn.

I know who I would be voting for if I could, but unfortunately I cant vote for the next few years at least.

Congrats to Barack... hopefully (*wishful thinking*) both the Clinton nor the GOPs will start the horrible transition to filling the airwaves to same-old mudslinging now that there is potentially a fresh wind of change in the air... then again it could be politics as usual. Lucky me I have a DVD player that will help me avoid watching ####### TV...

Wishing you ten-fold that which you wish upon all others.

I think America is ready for a woman Pres, just not Hillary. If more women were running, there'd be more women to choose from. If India and Pakistan have had women leaders, of course the US can. But give us more choices. Not just one choice and then because people don't pick that choice means the US isn't ready for a woman? I don't buy it... :)

The word over here is that the USA is not quite ready for a female president yet.

The country is still predominantly male orientated, in my opinion there has to be more pushes towards female rights, that includes employees rights. Females still seem to occupy a lot of the low paid, menial jobs, although things are changing.

I think in a couple of years it will happen, there will be a chance of a female president.

I think in a couple of years it will happen, there will be a chance of a female president.

India and Pakistan are far more male oriented, and the women have far less rights than in the US in places like the workplace, yet they have had women Prime Ministers. If they could, why couldn't the US?

Last night on CNN they were saying what ages were voting for who, according to polls, and it was the older generation voting for Clinton and the younger for Obama. If the US isn't ready for a woman, then why was it the older people, who would seem more against change like having a woman for Pres, voting for her? According to the poll on CNN, 45% of Dems aged 65 and older voted for Clinton. Shouldn't the older "stuck in their ways" people not vote for a woman if the US wasn't ready for it? Especially in a state like Iowa? http://www.cnn.com/ELECTION/2008/primaries...olls/#val=IADEM

Anyway, I think women don't run because maybe they see it as man's domain, but I bet if a lot of women ran, who had strong political pasts, they would get a fair share of votes. I just think it's a misconception that the US is not ready for a female Pres. If lots of women had been running and were ignored, then I might agree. When only one woman runs, how can anyone tell.
