We're mailing out our application and wanted to make sure we avoid an RFE. I have a couple questions:

With bank statements, do you need to submit every page of a monthly statement? We were thinking of just sending in the first two pages which shows joint account ownership and the general account information (bank name, account number, dates, etc). Additionally, we printed out four different statements spread out over the past two years.

In terms of utilities, everything is in my name as it was before he came to the states. I never bothered to change it. Will this be a problem?

Both of our driver's licenses have our mailing address (a po box) on them. Will this be an issue?

Here's what we're submitting for evidence (copies):

co-residence for the last two years (leases with both our names)

change of address (we moved & it's per requirement on the application)

2006 tax transcript showing joint filing

auto insurance policy showing immigrant spouse as authorised driver (3 statements for the last 1.5 yrs)

two different banking accounts showing joint ownership spanning two years

recent utilty statements in my name showing current address

recent credit card statements showing current address for immigrant spouse

health insurance card showing family coverage

our daughter's birth certificate

two letters from family and friend

copy of greencard & passport

Do you think the evidence will be sufficient?

We just submitted the portion of the bank statement that shows we are both on the account.

We didn't have a lot of what they wanted so had five people write afidavits for us. I also rewrote my living trust and will and Claudeth is also the beneficiary for my 401k and 457 plans.

Good luck

I just sent in the page that showed we had a joint account.....

do you have some bills that are just in your spouse's name? I included bills that were just in my name and some just in my hubby's name but they showed the same address...

the birth certificate of your daughter is pretty strong evidence
