August I-129f Filers

Who all filed their i-129f in August. My NOA1 date is August 13. I was hoping to get an approval by now. I know ther are others that filed earlier that has not been approved, but I'm really starting (just starting) to get impatient. I've been watching the approval dates since the begining of Dec an we have only had 1 approval since the 14th of December. Where are our approvals??? I know its probably slow for the holidays, but come one. UGGGG Anyway, just wanted to see how all of our other August filers are doing.

PS I haven't even gotting a touch yet!!!

Yeah! Know what you mean! But it seems to be a waiting game . . . esp. since the overflow of the July petitions. Have not been touched since my I130 and I129F were paired on Aug. 21st. But at least I know I'm in the system . . . I know of others who have alot more trouble here. I think we should be next up soon . . . let's keep this post going. Have not seen too many postings for Aug. filers. Anyway . . . take care.

Hello Everyone,

I called this afternoon to check on both I-130 and I-129F. My I-129F was filed in August and the lady told me they are now working on July I-129F's. My I-130 received an RFE on Dec. 12. I received it in the mail on Dec. 26 and sent it back to them on Dec. 26. They received it in their mailroom on Dec. 27. She told me that they had not entered the received RFE into the system as of yet, but to check back in a week, and it should be in there by then. She told me that once they have entered the received RFE into their system, then it is sent back to the adjudicator right away and they will resume work on the petition right away, so I will check back in one week unless I get an email from CRIS stating that they have resumed the case before then.

Just thought the piece of information I received from the lady concerning the I-129F would be of interest on this thread since that is what you are interested in. I was also told that they are now approving both I-130 and I-129F at the same time, so I will let you know as soon as I know what they do with mine.

I hear you ctygl. Haven't heard of any June approvals the last few weeks. Seems like everyone at USCIS took a long christmas break..

My i-130 was approved 2 week ago, but nothing from the i-129f. It's odd that it took less time for the i-130 to be approved.

CSC has not received my I-129F and I sent the I-130 on 8-7-07.

After that NOA1 I sent the I-129F and it still hasn't been received. That was 10-9-07

I called, they said to just wait longer... then call if still nothing.

Service was polite and helpful in spirit but they cannot do a thing, or even tell you anything useful really.

I think you are only going to suffer if you start to antecipate your approval so early.

Don't forget that between june and august, over 2.5 million applications were sent.

They have only started to approve july filers now. That meals they have to go through this gigantic pile of applications to get to ours.

Keep it chill. Busy yourself with work and friends and try not to get so impatient just now.

also... I was under the impression that they were approving both I-130 and I-129F at the same time these days... are they not?

I agree with you Elbereth! I think we still have some time to go and all we can do is remain patient. At least we have each other all going through the same thing.

I was approved already from CSC. I sent my application on August 8, 2007, so please be patient you will be approved shortly.

Thanks for the reality check, Elbereth! It is so easy to get impatient and frustrated! I think since we sent our I-129F in August, and most likely both I-130 and I-129F are stapled together, we won't see anything till they process August files, even though our I-130 is from July. Even so, there is no harm in hoping. Good luck to all.

Got email that I-130 was approved...what happens to I-129F? oh well..joy,joy,joy,joy.

This is the most tormenting journey I've ever had to endour. Seeing my husbands smiling face in the end keeps me going.

I really appreciate the encouraging words from such wonderful people.
