GPS systems works good keeping track of my huge pet snake gets spotted on the map quest thingy especially dancing to the tunes of a skin flute out of a basket. :jest:

Useful things but you should use them as an aid to basic common sense - not be led by the nose.

Yup. I have friends who don't know how to read maps because they've been dumbed down by their GPS.... It's awful.

I see a lot of them on the highway at night...everything is dark except the lumination of the GPS screen. That can't be good for the driver's visibility...let alone attention to the road.

The wife and I each have a Garmin - they have a night function that automatically comes on around 5 o'clock. Basically changes the background to black so there's less of a glare.
