When I entered the US, my medicals were missing in the brown sealed envelop that I gave to the POE officer. SO they had to take me to the back room, which made me pretty upset, check everything on a computer and then they said that all was ok that I could go and have a good day blablabla. Before I left I asked if I needed any documents back that were in the brown envelop and the officer said that everything in there was for him so I made my way out and gave the biggest to my fiancee :)

Anyway, now the problem is that for my AOS, I don't need the full medical again so I just need that I-693A form right? But I don't have any medical reports stating that I have all the vaccination required which I did get during my medical appointment in Paris. All I have is a french vaccination book but I doubt I can find a Doctor in Wisconsin who can read it! So am I totally screwed or what? Is my only way to file for AOS to get a full medical by a civil surgeon here in the US? I already paid 160 euros for my medical in France, it'd be good not to have to pay another 120 dollars or so for a full medical!!!

I sent an email to the embassy and am waiting for a reply.

I'm so upset right now cause you do everything right, everything by the rule to then get screwed like that and it's not even my fault...

Get your vaccination booklet transcribed, if possible. That should be all you need for the I693-A. It might also be a good idea to phone around some CS in your area and ask if they can understand vaccinations in French. You might be surprised that someone there in the office will be able to understand it, or even the CS him/herself.

Good luck!

The doctor that did your medical in Paris should have given you a copy of the vaccination sheet (form DS3025) he put in the brown envelope.

My doctor in Frankfurt did the same thing, I called them and had them fax it to me, then I just sent it in with the AOS application and before I had my actual interview I had a civil surgeon in the US transfer the data on a i693a for $25 just to make sure I had everything USCIS could possibly want to see.

The doctor never gave me anything, just the sealed envelop I had to give to the embassy. Do you think he might still have a copy of the DS3025? DO you think it's worth giving a call and have him fax it to me in the US?
