I'm changing our address with the AR-11 form, and I'm wondering if I need to do the same for the EAD and AP since they were just approved last week. It asks for receipt numbers on cases that are pending, and as I understand it, these cases are no longer pending, but approved. I have already changed the address for the 485 and the 130.

Just wondering about the EAD and AP. Is a customer service call enough? Or should I change it online even though its only asking for pending applications?

Hopefully you still can get mail from old address, USCIS has the bad habit of marking mail "Return Service Requested" so mail tends to not get forwarded.

AR-11 wont get the address changed for pending petitions, it only updates their record where aliens residing in the country are located. You need to call their 800 number and get address updated on your pending petitions.

yes, changing your address online changes your address on most pending cases..

Most customers can now notify USCIS to change their address on a pending case online here on our website.

So wait, Yu&Dan says the AR-11 wont get the address changed for pending petitions, but I thought that doing the AR-11 online was what that accomplished? Did I miss something?

FYI - I filled out the AR-11 online for the 485 and 131 but since the 765 and 130 were approved I didnt because it asked for pending apps, not approved apps. I will call customer service like it asks in the approval email if you move before getting the card. Also, we only moved 5 minutes away, I still go check the mail at the old place everyday.

I read all the time of people having mail from USCIS lost in the mail eventhough they files AR-11, it is best to call and confirm address on any pending petitions.

It is highly recommended to not move while having petitions pending at USCIS, something important like interview appointment letter can get lost. I have read too many posts where people thought USCIS had correct address only to find themselves dealing with a deportation order because they failed to make an interview because the interview letter was lost.
