Biometrics letter is generated by local USCIS Field office, so depending on how busy the field office they may have not sent the biometrics letter yet, the only way to contact a field office is by scheduling an info pass appointment.

The biometric letter does not show up as a touch...our letter was returned to USCIS as undeliverable because USCIS did not put our apartment number on the envelope. However, the returned mail did show up online (and by email) and that is the only way we knew to contact USCIS.

We ended up missing our biometric appointment because of this (we didn't actually receive the notice until a week after the appointment) and having to request another one. It might not hurt to call or make an infopass appt. On the other hand, they might just be a little bit slow due to the holidays. Its kind of a close call at this point. I know how you are feeling though. I was stressing out every day until we got everything straightened out.

Best Wishes

Tanya

Hi all, Our NOAs are dated 12/14 but we still have not got our biometrics letter. Our mailman kinds sux and we get stuff late sometimes. Is there anyone I can call to find out if we have a biometrics appointment? Would it show up as a touch on the USCIS tracking?

Thanks.

Everything takes time in this process. With the holidays, I think you guys just have to hang in there a little longer.

Life's just a crazy ride on a run away train

You can't go back for what you've missed

So make it count, hold on tight find a way to make it right

You only get one trip

So make it good, make it last 'cause it all flies by so fast

You only get one trip

Just a note our local office is Washington, DC and we have not received our biometrics appointment either, although our NOA1 is Dec. 17th. If we get one, I will let you know.

Thanks guys. Are you in VA, DC, or MD? I live in VA and believe our Biometrics office will be Alexandria.
