I just wanted to say Happy New Year to everyone!

2007 went out with a bang for me. On my way to work on Monday I hit a patch of black ice and lost control of my car. My seatbelt did not latch properly but I believe it saved my life by not locking. My Isuzu Rodeo rolled approximately 8 times before landing upside down. I was trapped in the car for 45 minutes before Emergency personnel could get me out. They believed I had internal injuries and a broken left femur. I was lifelined to Indianapolis and treated in the trauma center. Praise God I did not have any life threatning injuries and I did not break any bones. I was released to go home 5 hours after my accident. Needless to say my car is totalled. If I had been wearing a seatbelt I believe my neck would have been broken. The roof of my car was smashed down past the headrest of my driver seat. Below is the newspaper article picture of EMT's trying to get me out of the car. I am very sore and my leg is extremely swollen. I am unable to put weight on it but my doctor believes I will recover within 2 weeks.

I am very lucky to be here. I know that God blessed me and protected me from injury.

I just wish Jaser was here to help me through my recovery. It's very difficult for both of us to be apart in time of need.

(exactly on the 90th day mark...applications NOT returned although some scared me into thinking they could have!)

30th july 2007 - N-400 delivered to VSC

11th august 2007 - Delivery Confirmation receipt received

17th september 2007 - Money Order (FINALLY!) cashed

9th november 2007 - NOA! (notification period given 180 days)

21th november 2007 - Biometrics appointment letter

18th december 2007 - Biometrics appointment in Baltimore, MD completed

29th march 2008 - FINALLY received letter with interview date!

8th may 2008 H 8:40 AM - Interview in Baltimore-APPROVED!

8th may 2008 H 3:00 pm (yes same day, crazy!) Oath Ceremony in Baltimore

24th may 2008 - US Passport application mailed off
