DCF- Welcome notice and approval notice

Gday everyone, I am on the CR-1 DCF through Sydney. I have been in the states for 3 months now and am yet to receive my conditional resident green card. I know that this is normal and I believe that it may be coming. I believe this as I recently received in the mail a notice I-797 with under the heading welcome notice and that I should here from the USCIS in 30 days I assume this will be my green card. Just looking on the USCIS website a few days ago (online case status) it said that card production had been ordered so that answers my first question. But looking at the USCIS site just now it said that it has approved "this OS155A Imiigrant visa and Alien registration" Is this my green card? I thought the green card was a 551? What exactly had been approved? I am assuming this is just USCIS talk for "your card is coming" thanks for ant replies!

We also did DCF CR-1. You can join the club of us who still have not received the GCs on CR/IR subforum under title physical green card :-)

My online case status only has the application being approved (and that was in July), never saw a notice that said card production ordered let alone mailed. After lots of misinformation and one Infopass appointment I was told to file for replacement card (as in lost, destroyed or mutilated). Now involved congressman to see what is happening and why do I have to pay for their mistake.

I would tell you that your green card should in the mail, it happened to me I got the welcome letter on Dec. 28 then got the card on Jan 2, good luck
