But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

Stina, that collage was sooo great! And to everyone else awwwwwwwwww.

Now, I hope Craig won't kill me for this (heh heh) (Well, if I don't tell him, he can't kill me right!???)

Anyway, he used to write tons of poems...he's recently said he wants to start again. I for one think he's brilliant at it. Anyway, gonna post a cute little ditty he did for me  that I rediscovered while I was looking for the one that I referred to earlier in this thread. I like it because it's so unique and 'bouncy' as I told him...awwwwwwwwwwwwwwww :luv::wub: I love my honey so much! (L)

by Craig

Wisconsin girl, Wisconsin girl,

whose grace as rare as apple pearl,

how can you be so trippy true?

what have I done to virtue you?

your voice as like a thousand bells,

that chimes and sings angelic knells,

when whispers `schnookie` in my ear,

brings forth my hearts resistance tears.

how can i fight such potent tunes?

i smile, i sway, `oh fine`, i swoon,

become a child, no more a man,

a helpless plaything in your hand.

how come this voice effects me so?

i try to answer, alas don't know,

i snap into the foetal position,

unable to conjour opposition.

whats come of me? where did i go?

i vex to hide but it does show,

I'm lost in her, her womanly guiles,

for her id crawl a crooked mile.

this bewitchment i cannot understand,

even swap my home for another land,

i cannot forebear what is to come,

i give up, concede, submit, succumb.

Wasn't that sooo sweet?? :)

Hmmmmm. I keep doing fast reply, I write and enter and then it closes on me! So here I go again..

Don't remember if I cried when I read that particular one or not...probably!!!! We met on a poetry site and I had 100 or so on there and Craig had 50-some. Some of them had nothing to do with each other, but many of them did as well...they always, always touched me. and you're right...at least, IMO, he's a very very good writer!! :) M.

My husband is constantly saying things which make me feel special and cherished and loved, but one thing will always stand out in my memory.

Five years ago, I had a bad breast cancer scare. We were on the phone the night before I was going in to the Acute Cancer Screening Clinic and he said, "I didn't fall in love with your breasts. I fell in love with your mind and your heart. I'll love you forever whether you have one breast or three." Still makes me get teary to remember that.

On another note, I'll never forget that day at the clinic. I was sitting in the waiting room with a lot of other terrified women in bathrobes. Something came on the tv which made us all forget our cancer fears. It was September 11th. Suddenly cancer wasn't so terrifying.

awwwww that IS really really sweet!!! And so glad you were alright..I know it's scary..in the bath a few weeks ago I found what I thought was a lump..had Craig feel and he thought so to...I went to the Dr. the next week anyway, so I mentioned it to him and he gotme a mammogram ordered..got it about a week 1/2 ago and got the results back last week..I'm just fine(the Dr. didn't feel anything either, so it must have been something normal that we felt like a duct, or who knows..)but it was frightening to even think about! My mom had breast cancer. And 9/11 same day..yikes!!! that would take your mind off it a bit anyway!!!

That was sooo sweet tho..your guy said JUST the right thing when you needed to hear it..amazing quality they have sometimes!....... :luv: M.
