I've been loving every second of our two "cold" days down here. We actually had to use the heat last night. It was in the upper teens over night. It's 42 outside right now. But don't worry by Sunday it'll be near 80 again. :crying:

Married since 9-18-04(All K1 visa & GC details in timeline.)

To hell with that. You really should spend a few years in Louisiana. You will very quickly find comfort in cold weather.

All you need is a modest house in a modest neighborhood

In a modest town where honest people dwell

The summer humidity in the NJ/NY area is disgusting enough, let alone what it gets like in the south. During the summer I took a mate around the city and he remarked that July in NYC felt hotter to him than it did in Singapore...

I love the heat. I spent my teenage years in northern India and learned to love it. Of course, it was a dry - very dry - heat. The Ganges delta region of India is extremely humid and I hate it there.

The humid heat is what we deal with here, so a little cold weather is a relief from it.

It's freezing for FL right now!!!! It's like 31 degrees and I am praying for snow, heh.

Edit: apparently, it already did, but I must have missed it...

31 is freezing? You should've felt our -2 yesterday. And winter has just begun!

Life's just a crazy ride on a run away train

You can't go back for what you've missed

So make it count, hold on tight find a way to make it right

You only get one trip

So make it good, make it last 'cause it all flies by so fast

You only get one trip

I hear you on the humidity. Thankfully, the summers in NJ/NY (imo- number 6 disagrees) aren't that bad.

Yuck I think they're pretty bad. I felt like my face was going to melt off. As much as I'll miss Rey and kittehs, I'm glad I'm spending this next summer in San Diego. Escape!
