Hi everyone, do we pay $600 only for the AOS/EAD/AP, plus the $80 for Biometrics fee? He's under 14.

Thanks,

B.

Also if you can quickly clarify, I only pay $1010 for the same including the Biometrics, right?

Thanks again!

If you file concurrently with the K-1, then the AOS fee is $600 (no biometric fee required) for a child under 14 otherwise it is $930.

For the K-1 it is $1,010 (inclusive of biometrics fee).

I sent a check for $1610 for my wife and under-14 step-daughter. If he's under 14 he doesn't need an EAD as he can't work because of his age. Also, we weren't able to get a SSN for my step-daughter, because she can't work and doesn't "need" one.

I am not sure that is 100% accurate... if what you say is true then why do my kids have had SSN's since they were infants? I think in your situation that your stepdaughter is not yet work authorized (she will be upon apporved EAD or Greencard). Once work authorized you are eligible to receive a SSN and can in fact get one.

YMMV
