I wondered if it is necessary for us to make a new affidavit for our AOS interview (I have a copy of the one I sent when applying for AOS)?

Either way I filled out a new one since I've had a raise and a new employment letter that shows that. My second question is if it's ok for me to only write down my full time job? That's what I did.

But I have an additional job - which I included on the list - but not my income. I'm a freelance teacher and I work a few days a week, but have no set schedule so I could only guesstimate how much I'd be earning by month.

I also didn't include my husband's job since he just began a new one and this may only be until something better comes along.

I'm not being dishonest - I did list both my jobs, just not my husband's or how much my second job brings in - since I don't know the answer to either of those questions.

I'm not certain of the right answer on this, but we're in the same situation, and I have prepared a new affidavit of support as well. My attorney advised us to have it in the off chance its asked about.

Ok, so I have mine too - along with the updated employment letter.

I'm going to leave it as is and if the IO asks - I'll tell him/her that I only included my salaried job since this is the first year that I'm doing the freelance thing, and my husband's job.

The guides on VJ don't seem to list a new affidavit of support as something that's needed for the interview. However, since the interview is 8 months from when you filed, I think a new one would be handy! The interviewer might still be interested in knowing the financial support is there.

Also, it's ok to only list your full time job if that meets the requirements. I'd list them both (just to show as much as I could), but I don't think it's required.

Both of my above statements are merely opinions. I have no experience in this matter.

Good luck! Hope the interview goes smoothly!

They may not even ask. I didn't proffer the new affadavit, just had it in case. IO only wanted to see taxes, as it were.

Did you prepare an updated affidavit of support for your AOS interview?

Yes, I prepared a new one as our financial situation changed. We told the AO that it had changed, and that we brought a new one. He didnt want a new one, and said what we had at the time of filing was fine.
