***Bump***

I just want to officially join this thread as I finally have started my exercise regiment and so far so good. I have a tendency of starting things and never see them through but I am hoping that I will get all the motivation I need from you guys - keep this thread going...

D.

Yay Dorothy! I didn't work out yesterday or the day before because i could hardly walk-- my new workout totally got my calves and i really was having a hard time walking because of the need to hyperextend your foot in a step... now they feel better though and I'm going to try again! I do love it when I finally feel something in a workout.

Soup is always awesome!

well, its what my husband calls most soups that are just liquid and no substance. the actual mloheia (pronounced mlll o heya) is some kind of green something (maybe spinach?) that they have as a soup and if ur consipated its wonderful to clean things out quickly.

I know what that is...mlokheyeh (jute plant). Its very good but I was confused when you said Jameed mlokheyeh. I have never mixed them.

lol that is what i get for using my husbands arabic. his family told me not to listen to him coz he has his own language "hubstarabic" lol. He does actually call most soups "mlokheyah" and I'm not sure why since the actual mlokheyah is that green stuff...oh well....gotta love'em

Today is my work out day

I must admit that I am very surprised at how much I enjoy it. It's been a while since I did any serious physical working out so I am taking it easy and following the program until I build up enough strength to be able get into the whole treadmill running or even better Central Park running experience.

(oh the vision of me joining the hard core runners in the Central Park runners, slowly trekking behind them all not worthy their soles...now that's a vision alright LOL)

Anyway - I am so glad that I did it since diet alone could never work for me and I feel like working out motivates me to be more conscious eater.

So on that note yay for work outs and of course yay for SOUPS>>>

Maybe we could start the soup clique :)

Congrats on your workout! I just started a new supplementary workout of intervals. It sucks. It makes my calves hurt for days. I love it! I mean not while doing it, that part really sucks.. but I love that I can feel it working. I'm off to get ready for Torah Tuesday, and then i will probably come back and do more abs things. I may want to bring something to eat, not sure. If I do, it will be a salad-- just lettuce and tomato, nothing else.

I agree with you, Julianna - no pain no game, right?!? I usually am dying when doing mine since I am so out of shape but after I'm done I take a nice shower and feel and enormous sense of accomplishment - so it's a great motiovator.

I guess I finally realized that it's time to start taking care of myself for a change ... now if I can just learn how to like myself then I will be all good... but as they say - baby steps, right...
