Wow that's awesome Jenn! I have that same goal but I was going to ease into it in 9 weeks with the Couch to the 5K running program. But first I want to lose some poundage because I feel it's hard on my joints to start a running program at this weight.

Today we got our Mexican food in and then we discussed how stuffed we were and how much we needed to lose weight and how we're going to seriously crack down on this McDougall diet. The maximum weight loss version states you can lose up to 15lbs in one month if you are strict to the diet and so we both agreed for 30 days to stick to it and try it out.

Today I'm taking a break from cardio and the gym. Last night I couldn't sleep because my muscles were so sore from working out. It was miserable. My Cousin text msg me @ 4:30am saying she'd been up all night with the baby and couldn't sleep and wasn't going to make it so we're going to try again on Thursday. Thursday I also go to the gym with Erin and this time I'm doing upper body.

Olivia, you should soak in a nice hot bath w/ dead sea salts or epsom salts. It will help your achy muscles and you'll sleep much better.

Julianna, nice to see you ... wondered where you'd been today. And yes, sodas will eat the paint off your car, the acid off your battery, the finish off your floors. Stands to reason it's not so great for your teeth either.

Jenn, congrats on your accomplishment!

I hope you feel better soon! I got a new job and I'm working 11pm-7am, so i'm sleeping when i used to be on a lot. Now i need to get cleaning before i go to work. Bleh.

Congrats Jenn! I do math too.

Sarah-- Soda does eat the enamel off your teeth as do all acids. Juice is worse than soda, and tea is the worst of all.

I guess that's why my teeth are so weak - all the tea drinking back home in Poland - tea was my primary thirst quencher back in the "old county" :crying::crying::crying: I love tea!!!!!!!!!!! :crying::crying:

Hey Julianna - hope you are at least enjoying your new job. Any prospects on your hours coming back to normal???

I get paid more and do half the work and have a lot less worries here! i don't mind the hours, it means higher wages than during the day and I am a night owl anyway.

Ok, the ice cream yesterday, although awesome , was totally evil. I am craving another recees Sonic blast and just might go out and get one for lunch. dang things are 640 calories for a regular sized one! but ohh sooo gooooood *drool*

Hubster "cooked" last night and it tasted amazingly like he cooked it in the deli at our arab market  . I know that if I ask him to cook supper, we get take-out coz he's "too tired" to cook after a day of looking at offices.. :bonk: I love him

It was really good so I'm not complaining AND he got some garlic dipping sauce that was TO DIE FOR..OMG ....*sigh* :luv: it was fantastic!

I don't think I went over my calorie allowance yesterday but we shall see what the scale tells me on Tuesday (no work on Monday!) I might weigh tomorrow just to see...

KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!! WE CAN DO IT!
