ever have one of those days where you dread printing out anything or going to the bathroom 'cause that means you actually have to zipper up and button the jeans that you undid after lunch? ugh.

Wow, that must be an amazing printer if u have to zipper and button up after using it. Where can I get one of these? just kiddin, I get what u meant.

I lived most of the last year living in that kind of state and most of my Jr.High and High School years as well. We were too poor to afford new clothes so we just had to suck it in and make it work..yeah, it sucked. I do not envy what you are dealing with...(by the way, I think I can finally fit into a pair of jeans that I haven't been able to wear for 3 years!!! woot woot!!!)

I *could* start tomorrow but this is a long weekend coming up which means I'd just blow it anyways so this way I can enjoy myself and then be miserable from next tuesday through the rest of my life.

I walked this morning with my Cousin Abby for an hour and we plan to do it five days a week from 7am-8am. Then this eveing I go with my friend Erin to the gym to do some weight training. We're also going to do that five days a week. And we started our McDougall diet and I asked my Mom this afternoon "Want to go eat Mexican Food?" LOL! She was good and said,"Now how do you rationalize eatting Mexican Food into lossing weight?"

sigh.

How do Mexicans ever diet? :P

But seriously, I think depriving yourself will slow you down in the long run. Go for Mexican! Just make a healthy choice. It's the spices that make Mexican food tasty, not the gobs of cheese and sourcream!

Chicken tacos on corn tortillas are suprisingly not that bad if you get them the traditional way.

When I go to a tex mex type place i always go for a fajita type of thing and i dont add any sour cream or cheese and i try to go easy on the tortillas - ie no more than two. i will partake in the guacamole tho - healthy fats!

All of these are good suggestions. I was thinking maybe a taco salad?

Well I went to the Gym with my friend, Erin, and I did the elypticals for 30 mins and then I focused on lower body weights. I kept looking around for her for an hour wondering where is she? Is there another part of the gym I don't know about? Turns out she was in the trainer box the entire hour talking about food instead of working out. She asked me to go tomorrow but it would be really late and it's just cardio which I am covering in the morning with my cousin. I told her I'll pass and see her on Thursday. I have to judge how sore I'm going to be tomorrow. One more funny thing I noted about this gym. There is no scale to measure your weight in the ladies locker room.

Now I really want ice cream!

taco salad prob ok if you dont eat the shell - whatever you do DONT eat that oily shell! and no cheese, sour cream, dressing etc. just eat the veggies and meat inside. great job on your workout!

maybe we should type in our workouts each day to inspire each other?
