OK, there have been a ton of people in this thread. I didn't feel like looking the entire way through it, but I did manage to pull out a few names of people who joined:

Chaishai, me, Jen, Jenn, Olivia, Mrs. Amera, Caybee, Bridget, tnh9479, Water, Aymerlu, Jackie, Nutty, Polarbear, Noura, Dorothy, Melly, Ayesha4akram, Hollyw, Henna Rose, Amal, S and S, Terrie... and some fringe/later pledges from Alhamdulillah (indirectly saying she was joining a gym lol), JP (after the baby)...

So how is everyone doing?

I have not been staying after it like I should, and I'm afraid to go near the scale. We're on opposite work schedules now, and I'm exhausted when I get home these days but have trouble sleeping, so I eat something carby and then go to bed without exercising. I'm going to try to get up and stay up when he comes in at 4:30 am, and I hope that will allow me to get some exercise in the morning and sleep straight through the night.

I'm the USC.

I'm drinking loads of water. Taking my bowel cleanse stuff and pooping A LOT! Haven't started the diet portion of it yet but getting plant based menus ready this weekend. Thinking about an exercise program but trying to recondition myself for it by walking to and from school which is a 1/2 mile each way and taking stairs more.

My calfs are really tights and breathing is difficult just for this half mile walk. But in my defense we have a lot of hills on campus. I should take a video so you could all see what I go through each day. I think though I got out of shape from last semester even.

Calorie-cycling or even carb cycling works really well...if you do like 1200 one day, 1600 the next...or low carbs one day and then add a few carbs the next.

:crying: i gained 10lbs during my vacation :crying:

I'm hoping that Ramadan gets me back into the "less eating" phase...

Awww, you can do it again!

Yeah, opposite schedules can be really hard. i try to exercise when I am home alone so I don't miss any time with him.

been in israel almost three weeks....

gained probably 5-10lbs.....

and lost most of my muscle definition

if only i would stop indulging every few hours!

Oh, that sucks! but I bet you can build up really fast again. i missed you! Tell us about the trip! Did you show up the thin relatives and avoid the comments? :)

I would love to see a video! it's so depressing when you realize how far you have gone down from even a few months ago when you deteriorate.

Hi Julianna - Thanks for keeping us accountable

I'm here but have fallen of the exercise wagon but still eating a sensible and healthy diet, if I can just get back into the routine.

Have been having trouble sleeping but can't make myself spend that extra awake time exercising - I hope I can talk myself back into action...

D.

I feel like that 99% of the time... and it's sooo hard to get myself to do any exercise at all.

Olivia-- I can't wait!

Joining in guys! I guess having Whataburger for dinner has to end.

I need to get back to my pre baby weight or better if possible! I can finally start running again and I'm looking forward to it! It's been much harder with my hubby here. He's very active (a dancer) and eats whatever he wants (mostly garbage) and it never hits him.

Yep, same with my Dh-- doesn't put on weight like I do! So do you have an ammount you want to lose and a goal for when?

Okay, ya'll - I'm totally in! I've had my last McDonald's breakfast! I just love Sausage McMuffins - yes, I know major HARAM - and a diet killer to boot!!! :help: You know, here in the South we're just kind of pork fanatics. :bonk:

I am going to enjoy my holiday weekend, especially since we're going out of town, but come next Tuesday, I'm totally on the wagon. Will be doing Leslie Sansone WATP and eating about 1500 calories a day.

Staashi I'm on board with you 100%. Same program. I am going to let this weekend go but since Monday starts Ramadan anyway, it's going to be a good time to get moving..... I'll be doing the Leslie WATP 1, 2 and 3 mile walk - I don't know if you found it but you should do the 1 mile for a day or two, then 2 mile, and eventually get to the 3 mile and after that she says to keep changing them up - don't go to the 3 mile and stay with it but alternate your days!!!

  Let's get walking buddies!! hehehe "Eeeeevveerrybody loves a walk!!! " haha

You know...I was thinking about doing the 1 mile in the morning just to get me going and then do the 2 or 3 mile at night when I get home.

I used to do the same thing.. It really does just rock not having to leave your house or do anything special!! Nice 15-20 minutes of a brisk power walk in front of your tv... shower go to work and come home and do the 2 mile - great idea!! I get a nice energy boost afterwards too!!! sometimes I even walk with little 5lb hand weights in each hand. I'm so glad that you like it.
