Those with early January inerview please share your experience

My fiancee will have her interview this January 9. Can anyone share their experiences and what questions they asked you? And is it true that the fee has increased from $100 to some higher amount? Let me know guys.. thank you.

If the visa fee was paid before Jan 1st and the interview is before Jan 31st, the fee is still $100. After either of those dates, it's $131 for the K visas.

Don't worry too much the questions are just so simple .. All about personal stuff.. Like how long u know each other.? when was the last time you see each other? what is his Job? How did you meet? those kind of questions.. Just relax there everything will be ok.

One more thing, did any of you pick up your visa the next day or you just waited for it to be delivered by Delbros? If you picked it up, what did you do after the interview to let them know you want to pick it up and was it available the next day or it took a couple of days? Thank you.

Happy new year and good luck on your interview! It is just basic questions about both of you, so don't worry. I believe the new few is now $131. You will have to write a letter of request for visa pickup, I think it will be available a few days after interview. Some consuls allow for that and some don't. If not, just do with Delbros.

the visa fee is effective for those applicants who will be interviewed on feb 1 onwards.
