It's on!

They scheduled a 4-hour window for Monday to hold a series of interviews, show me around the place, do a meet and greet, fill out papers and stuff like that. This will apparently include a lunch as well.

*try to remember to order something other than beer for a drink*

Anywho, we'll take off in the morning and take our time getting down there. Stop in Atlanta included to hook up with one of Nani's cousins that recently moved there.

I'm thrilled! :D

Do you think this is something of a formality to make sure that you don't have three heads and then the job's pretty much in the bag??

You realise VJ is probably more excited for you than you are?!

Make sure you're wearing clean knickers. You never know when you'll be run over by a bus.

Apparently. About half an hour after I spoke with the HR lady this afternoon about Monday's schedule, another hiring manager from that same place called me wanting to do a phone interview. I was like: Ehm, I did two phone interviews already and will be down in Tampa on Monday for a series of meetings. She was quite excited, asked for the name of the HR lady and said: "let me call her and get my name on that interview list for Monday. I'd love to talk to you about a position I have available." Damn. I mean, how good can it get? They're gonna fight over me or what? Seems that I gotta get into the resume writing business...

Meanwhile, two other employers are sending first signals of interest my way as well. I guess what they say is true: When it rains, it pours. One of them in Chicago (cold up there but very good company) and one in Charlotte, NC (that would work all the way around).

*sigh* Life is tough sometimes.
