May 18, 2007 : E-mail rcvd, Welcome Notice Sent! Finally!!!
April 22, 2007 : E-mail rcvd, GC has been ordered
April 24, 2007 : Welcome Notice Rvcd. Yeeehaaa!!!!
June 1, 2007: GC arrived! Yippy! USCIS Free for 2 years!
2008: Moved to China
2009: Conditional GC Expired and Husband has been having affairs since 2008 in China. Can't file for ROC since he got laid off. He came to Jakarta to live with me and my parents. He got a new job. Life resume to normal or so I thought.
March 2010: Officially separated after yet more affairs exposed just a day after my birthday!

February 2011: Officially divorced.
June 18, 2011: He married the girl he had the last affair with.

August 2014: I am engaged with my real soulmate. Not an American.

03.04.2009......Ordered Police Certificate for Visa Purposes from Local Garda Office (ordered over the phone)

03.05.2009......I-130 received at Embassy

03.06.2009......Received Police Cert

03.18.2009......I-130 Approved

09.10.2009......Medical Exam

09.23.2009......Embassy receives Notice of Readiness

10.13.2009......Received our interview date

10.29.2009......Successful interview!

11.5.2009........Visa received in post

11.7.2009........All the family flew to the US together :)

12.20.2009......Received Welcome to America letter

12.24.2009......10 year Greencard received in the mail

We should gamble with such things i think in life. Follow our hearts aswell as our noses. It is tough with family i know but hope everything works out for you. Good luck.

23rd February 2005 Married.

10th May 2005 I130 packet sent to TEXAS forwarded to Cali.

12th May 2005 NOA1 Received date.

14th May 2005 delivered at 4:34 am LAGUNA NIGUEL, CA 92607.

23rd May 2005 NOA1 notice date.

27th May 2005 NOA1 hits the mailbox.

13th August 2005 po po form mailed off with £10 cheque.

2nd September 2005 po po letter arrives.

3rd September a 4 week visit to GA assuming i get allowed in.

30th september 130 days on I130 and counting.

(Hopefully i finally get a wedding ring today too)

30th November NOA2 date. woohoo

January 2006 case arrives at NVC finally(not sure about exact date)

17th February 2006 IV bill mailed back

21st April case complete (sorry i have missed some dates of forms going back and forth)

2nd May case forwarded to Embassy in London

10th July 2006 visa interview 10.30 a.m.

Thanks everyone. This really helped. Nothing like some good ole VJ MOJO. B)

I'd have to say that this seemed to have been a slam-dunk tonight. The lady was really nice and apparently quite impressed. We spoke for an hour. Didn't even feel like an hour. Anyhow, she finished by saying that they will send me the actual application form via e-mail on Monday and that there will be one more interview. In person. Next week. Most likely Monday (since I said that based on the last interview I blocked a few days out at work next week - which I did) - details to follow tomorrow. I think we'll be heading down to FL on Saturday. Make it a mini vacation and take a look around the city.

I think I've got it hooked up. :D

Good luck! Stay away from central Tampa! eeeeek. Downtown is beautiful and very weird.... no one lives there! so on the weekends it can be very nice to tool around in.

just as light correction from a previous post - there are no beaches in Tampa - only in the surrounding areas.

True about downtown, funny as I just was saying this to someone yesterday. Once on the way home from a concert, one of us had to use the bathroom and my sis who was driving accidentally got off the exit on 275 for downtown...it was empty and like a ghost town at night, and NO WHERE to use the bathroom. :lol: Eventually found a scary gas station outside of downtown.

ET, have a good time in FL!
