Update:

Three weeks of aweful silence. I was supposed to hear the week after the initial interview and nothing happened. Tried to call there a couple times but never got through to anything but a voicemail. I left a message once but did not hear back at all. So, here I was, wondering what on God's green Earth had happened. I played that interview back in my mind a thousand times trying to figure out where it may have gone wrong. But I remembered it as a rather positive experience and all. Nothing seemed to make sense.

And then it happend. My phone rang just before quitting time today. There it was, the FL area code and the employer's prefix. The call I was expecting two weeks ago came today. And tomorrow I'll have the second phone interview. This is awesome!

Thought I'd let my peeps know. Needed to share my happiness and was hoping that I could solicit some well-wishes, good vibes, mojo and whatever else may be available to ensure a positive outcome tomorrow.

Tampa is an interesting place, having lived here for 6 years now... um there is every kind of store duplicated throughout almost every block of city there is

i am quite curious as to what *powerhouse* employer is here, as just recently MANY of the major employers left leaving Tampa a little less attractive as far as the job market.
