After having been quite on edge about getting out of this town, we decided a few weeks back to tough it out for a little while in this city as things at my job really turned around for the better. There's a growth waive going through our international division that I wouldn't mind to ride for awhile. Plus my new boss is really cool. Nani and I even started looking at homes again but haven't really found anything just yet. All seemed well and settled for now.

Then my phone rings this afternoon. Out of nowhere, a recruiter from one of the places I applied at some time back called me in regards to a position that I found (and still find) quite attractive. To top it off, this gig is down in Florida. Now, we love Florida. It's a powerhouse of a company which is expanding right in my line of business. So, I will telephone interview with them tomorrow afternoon.

You know, it's odd that when you forgot all about looking for a way out of your company and a way out of town, just when you least expect it, the phone seems to start ringing. No, I am not complaining. :no:

Never been in a better position to interview for a new job. I don't really need one right now. But I figure it won't hurt to talk and see what they have to offer. Besides the location. ;)

Seriously, though, they'd have to make an attractive offer for us to pack up and move yet again. No matter how much I'd like to be in Florida as opposed to Ohio. I have to keep in mind that I will very soon have a three member family to provide for and the 4th member will hopefully follow soon thereafter. :D
