Is a CENOMAR a required document for K-1 Visa applications in Manila USE right now?

I have been seeing conflicting information and have not seen it on a needed document list.

Since they want a divorce decree or death certificate from any former spouses, I would certainly provide a CENOMAR to show there were no prior spouses.

hello i am a filipina too..and IMO yeah you need it..i just got here in US last july 2007 and before my interview the USE t=ask me to submit cenomar..be patience and you will get approve haha...god bless..

YES! CENOMAR is now a requirement for K1 applicants. I received my packet 4 from USEM manila the other day (December 31, 2007). With the appointment letter and other forms, also came a note that states.....

Effective March 2006

All K1 applicants who have never contracted marriage should submit a Certificate of No Marriage Record (CENOMAR) issued by the National Statistics office (NSO) and printed on NSO security paper.
