Actually I think thats where it began. When the game started my husband started teasing me because he knows I am a fan of him...both as a player and his looks. I think me finding two men attractive in the same day may have made her angry.

I guess I'm an official floozie in her eyes. :lol:

Anyways back on topic...the only thing that frustrated me was how often the game had to be stopped. But other than that it was awesome.

It had to be stopped, so much snow,lol Plus they had to do a few ice repairs,which is expected, since it is on a football field. I think it was a well put together production. Nice to see Sid the kid win it!!

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied,that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1

That was such a good game. And sidney crosby is so cute!

I loved it when they played the game in Edmonton, and I loved it today, I hope they do it every year!

There is talk of an annual event, would be fun. Lot of work goes into building the rink. The fellow that over sees it used to do the Oilers ice, but now works for the NHL (Dont believe he still does the oilers ice) As well he put in the ice for the game that took place over in England this year, and I do believe he also does the ice for the Olympics.

Yeah, I read an article about him on espn.com (I think that is where I found it), he basically didn't sleep for a week obsessing over the ice and weather!

I'm not sure if I would have enjoyed attending the game. The ice surface was in the middle of a football field, thus the seats were fairly far away, so not a real good viewing situation. And I'm cheap, rather sit home in the comforts of my chair and my cheap beer. I can buy a 6 pack for the price of 1 beer at a Capitals game,lol
