late registered birth

the birth of my woman was late registered. when her mother finally registered her birth, she listed the city that they currently reside in, NOT the place of birth. she does not have a original baptismal, it was lost in a fire long ago. she recently had a new baptismal to get her passport.

ive been told in most normal situations that during the interview the, baptismal is not even asked for. but with late registration a baptismal is requested. can anybody verify this specifically? even if i sent her back to the province of birth and had her retrieve a original baptismal, it wont agree with her place of birth registration. which would lead to conflicting documentation.

we have been trying to gather other forms of identification, school records, voters ID - having to settle for voters affidavit and affidavits from old school teachers who have known her and verify her identity. anybody else have further suggestions?

It sounds like you're gathering the right evidence. Be sure and pay the document verification fee at least 2 weeks before your interview.
