Got my RFE (not surprised)

I got an email from USCIS today that I'm getting an RFE. I hope it's just for the 2005 taxes. Time to start beating down our cosponsor's door

The problem is that it may take me months to get the information, if it's for our cosponsor's 2005 taxes. But who knows, maybe it will go better this time.

Sharon could they not get them to you soon? I know the tax deadline was this week and most people have filed them already. I know you will not be sure what the RFE is for until you get the actual hard copy via snail mail. I am hoping it is something you can get resolved in short time and if it is taxes they can just give you copies without much of a delay.

That's assuming they will return our calls or emails or be at the house when they say they will be. It wouldn't be hard if it weren't his cousin that we're dealing with, but he basically doesn't want to help us out and is only doing so because he feels he has to. Unfortunately we don't have another option. But maybe it will go better this time.

You know I have wondered about the very same thing. Has anyone else used someone from the beneficiary's family as a co-sponser. My initial reaction to that was it would be a red-flag.

Oh Sharon, I hope that you will be able to get this thing fixed pretty soon and get back into the fast lane...Too bad that when they send you these e-mails they do not inform you are of the actual content of what is missing...Will pray that this will get resolved quickly.

Sharon, I hope you can get this resolved quicky because ours said that if they didn't receive the info within 87 days they would consider our case abandoned and deny it.

Good luck ! In Packet 4 for Ali they asked for the 2005 taxes. I already sent them to him ... he needs to take them to the embassy before the interview. Too bad about your cosponser
