Wish the best to ya all, hope all is on the up and up, well except for the Oiler fans, and the Maple leafs,lol. ya all can make the 1st round of the play offs, then hit the golf range while my flames parade around with the Cup. All the best to you all.

ps. Watched a bit of our Canadian Juniors play while in Saskatoon over Xmas, and too be honest, they didn't look that impressive, and of course they lost to Sweden. The USA team is doing well. Canada has appeared to have lost the finesse, the finishing touches. Still good hockey to watch.

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied,that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1

i ask again, how many rings do the flames have? and how many do the oilers have?. No iggy = No flames talent. Kipper is failing... That being said, Oilers have the youngest team in the league this year and i dont expect them to make a flashy stanley cup finals run. however, Oilers future is ...win

lol.. nobody seems to understand or figure out why the oilers are always breaking down in the 3rd period. Im glad our captain is back and already has 3 points in 2 games after missing 113 nhl games due to injuries lol

Happy New Year to all VJers and Best Wishes that your Joys are many and your Sorrows few.

Only one more thing, Stanley Cup victories: Habs=24 (looks like Mephys and Spirit have us trumped), Leafs =11 (might even be 12 sometime in the next century :lol: ), Oliers =5 and Flames =1. No Canadian team has won since 1993 so let's hope one of them does it this year.

2007 was already a great year for a lot of us here ( we got aproved and are happily married )

I know 2008 is goin to be another great year many will get the K1 aproved as many will get the AOS aproved ( including myself and tony ) we wish each and everyone a happy new year and stay well , may all your dreams continue to come true .

special new years wish to Ron and Sharon 2007 was very rough for both of you , you hung in cose real love is unbeatable I wish for you a better 2008 good luck with everything you goin trough
