My husband filed the I-131 Advance Parole Travel Document on Feb 2007.

It was apparently approved and sent out in June 5, 2007.

We moved July 22, 2007 and it says to contact them if we do not receive the document within 30 days.

We called but a representative said to wait 60 days as it could take longer.

We waited and waited, and finally called back in September 25, 2007.

The representative said that she would put in a Non-Delivery Request or something.

We didn't receive anything in the mail like the representative said we would.

We called back today, and low and behold, the letter was apparently sent out, but we never received it.

The lady said that we would have to submit another application, pay a fee of $170 over again because we didn't receive a document that was sent out.

They said they wouldn't send another because the travel document was never returned to them and so someone must've received it.

What do we do? Is there a place where we can call to get this matter fixed?

Should we submit another application and write a letter stating that we didn't receive it and we refuse to pay $170?

It seems ridiculous to pay for something over again when we should've received it the first time we paid for the services.

We would have to pay for another one if by any chance we don't receive it the 2nd time around.

Has something like this happened to anyone else?
