My furniture is about 6 years old now and two pieces need replacing. Instead of doing that though I was thinking of getting a very good quality slipcover to go over them since the only thing that is wrong is the fabric which is worn.

Does anyone know of a good company to buy these from?

I've tried to use slipcovers and they never look right to me. The couch is always shaped wrong for the cover or something like that. GOOD LUCK!

Which is why I make my own!

I bought one from Sure Fit once and was happy with it except that the sofa was an unusual shape so it didn't fit as well as I'd hoped. Their quality may not be as good as Pottery Barn's. I have a sofa now that my folks bought when they got married. My mom has made several slipcovers for it over the years, but it may be time to either reupholster it or let it go.

When a slipcover fits right, I love the way you can change the look of the room on a whim.

I have been looking at surefit! My furniture is weird though so I dunno. My couch is fine and needs nothing but I have an overstuffed chair and an overstuffed rocking chair and I just don't know if normal slipcovers will look ok. I guess I won't know until I try though. I looked at Jordan's furniture where I bought it originally and I can't find the furniture there anymore so I don't think they sell it now. I'll check out Pottery Barn though..never thought of them. Thanks guys!
